Why do American mothers only have an average of 36 minutes a day to themselves?

This article seeks to explain why American working moms are in a constant state of being overwhelmed and why we have a feeling of guilt. American mothers spend most if not all of their leisure time with their children. In Europe, work is structured and thought about differently, so mothers’ time at work is more productive and not as lengthy.
