An upcoming lecture at the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum in Canyon will be centered on pioneering women in the history of the state. It promises to be a good talk. The event will be held on March 22, 2016 at 5:30 pm in the Hazlewood Lecture Hall at PPHM. This is part of the Texas Talks series, an initiative of the Texas State Historical Association.

This talk will be available online via stream the following week on Thursday, March 31, 2015 at 7:00 pm. Visit https://tshaonline.org/education/distance-learning to learn more.

From Glasstire:

“Dr. Jean Stuntz of West Texas A&M University, will discuss “From San Antonio to the Panhandle: Texas Pioneer Women” to celebrate both Texas History and Women’s History Month.”
